With the conclusion of summer and the beginning of a fresh Fall semester, a lot has landed on my plate. I’m finding I need to write everything down simply so I can remember everything.  What better place to do so than on this semi-abandoned blog, right?

I’ve felt things revving up around me and the motivation gaining momentum within me, and I certainly got a splash of cold water to possibilities this afternoon.

I’m working with a non-profit organization called Supporting the Emotional Needs of the Gifted (SENG) to help get them votes for a grant during the month of September.  I expressed interest in continuing an awareness group afterwards on campus to help spread information about the special needs of the gifted since I find the topic extremely pertinent here at MIT.

Well, apparently that side note I mentioned was heard and they want me to talk to their Executive Director.

Wow.

I don’t know what I would say, I mean, my goal is not elaborate in any way, but I guess this may be significant for them given the MIT branding.  Or perhaps I’m one of the few college students interested in spreading awareness about this topic.

Either way, I believe an interesting adventure is about to unfold in this direction.
