		<description>Wow, very powerful argument. I agree with every statement. Even while I used to be a &quot;very good Christian,&quot; I never understood why the literal interpretations of the Bible and its &quot;rules&quot; were so important.
From what I have learned, God created plants and animals as a gift to man, so man could do whatever he pleased with them. I don&#039;t remember any rules against genetic manipulation. Wow, I had no clue that people were starving because of these irrational Christian beliefs. What happened to &quot;love your neighbors&quot;? It seems like they love the purity of their food or land more than their fellow humans.
Christian hypocrisy is what turned me away and caused me to form my own religion. Maybe out of habit or for comfort, I still have a somewhat close relationship with my God, but I do not understand the meaning of life or the concept of &quot;glorifying God&quot; anymore. The real &quot;gods&quot; I serve now might be Love, Loyalty, and Fairness. I live to love the unfairly unloved but also to destroy the sprits of the selfish.</description>
